F.A.Q.
HISTORY
Q. Where did you get your start?
A. Well, wow….awkward….how should I put this?
When a mommy and daddy really love each other…
Q. Where did you get your start IN FILM?
Ah. I do not have a singular “origin story.” I am the victim of a series of rather fortunate events. More acurrately, I blame it all upon my time machine. You see, at the tender age of 7 I was obsessed with our family video camera, and so I created worlds, and histories for my first feature film, “The Time Machine.” Fast forward 20 years. Still doing just the same thing.
Q. Did you go to school?
A. Graduated High School top of my class in one of the most difficult private schools in Southern California. By some stroke of dumb luck, minority quotas, I was accepted to Harvard & Yale. Opted to stay home, go to the local community college to help out with my older brother who has cerebral palsy. Never looked back. Never regretted it.
Q. Friends? Family? Loved Ones?
A. I have only a select few who are close friends. Abe Serrano of my High School years. Eric & Justin Rasmussen most recently. Family. I am blessed with a VERY LARGE latin family. All of which I love, and love me in return. Loved Ones? I have a women. Rather she has me. Taylor Messanger. Awww. Yes. Also one surrogate family found in The Engles.

A. Star student. Jock. Waiter. Bar Back. Bartender. Mechanic. Salesman. Pro paintball player. Christian Youth Pastor.
Q. Who has been the most influential person in your life?
A. A few people.
Chris Brogan, taught me the importance of personality and friendship in business by placing the logoed sticker of my company on his crotch. Rodrigo Garcia, taught me to live my passions through my work, right before we blew up a bus for the HBO “Carnival” finale. Tim Coon, taught me to collaborate creatively as we shared a six pack on the Las Vegas strip.
Q. What has been the best gig so far?
- First Place: Directing a superhero of “Biblical proportions.” Purple spandex, and light sabres are thrilling.
- Second Place: Film festival judge…..shuttle. Built some of the best relationships.
- Third Place: Premiering at Paramount pictures, and hurling in the bathroom before.
- Honorable Mention: Literally being a bra for an actress. Long horrible yet intersting story.

TRIVIA - Its the little things about me, that you should hold dear.
Q. Most important moment of your adult life?
A. Attending Summit Ministries.
Q. Ever met anyone famous?
A. All of them. Strangely enough I met most waitering for a swanky catering company out of Beverly Hills. Took the job to learn not to get star struck. Only guy who did it to me was Brad Garrett, and Kieffer Sutherland. By the way Ellen Degeneres. HOT in person.
Q. What is your favorite movie?
A. I was raised to appreciate true cinema classics. I love “The Philedelphia Story” with Audrey, Cary, and Jimmie.
